The Lake-Lehman Cadet Band Boosters were created in 2004 to help fill a need to assist in helping with some of the tasks that occur within the school year. Some of these tasks include:

chaperoning for rehearsals, concerts, 6th grade step up day, Music in the Parks competition, etc.
organizing and running fundraising events through the year, such as the annual Gertrude Hawk candy bar sale.
collecting donations, selling food at concerts.
other jobs that may arise.
The Band Boosters have a general meeting the first Monday of every month to discuss upcoming events. Meetings are held in the HS Cafeteria @ 7:00pm. Next meeting is scheduled for April 7, 2008.

At the last meeting we put together theme baskets to raffle at the craft show on March 8, 2008. Any parent who did not donate for the baskets may still do so. The Lottery basket was still in need of some items. The remaining baskets will be raffled off at the Spring Concert in May. Parents interested in joining the Band Boosters can show up at the next meeting and join in the fun. On tap for April is setting up chaperones for the trip as well as the rehearsals for our upcoming concert. Thank you to all the parents who have helped out this school year. Without your help and dedication, this year would not be a success.
