The Lake-Lehman Cadet Band Boosters were created in 2004 to help fill a need to assist in helping with some of the tasks that occur within the school year. Some of these tasks include:

chaperoning for rehearsals, concerts, 6th grade step up day, Music in the Parks competition, etc.
organizing and running fundraising events through the year, such as the annual Gertrude Hawk candy bar sale.
collecting donations, selling food at concerts.
other jobs that may arise.
The Band Boosters have a general meeting the first Monday of every month to discuss upcoming events. Meetings are held in the HS Cafeteria @ 7:00pm. Next meeting is scheduled for December 14th, 2008.

At the last meeting we made can tab bracelets to sell at the craft show as well as assembled baskets for our raffle. We also began generating ideas for the upcoming year. Gertrude Hawk candy bar sale will start in December. Please share any fundraising ideas as we prepare to raise money to commision a composition for the band in 2010. Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered and signed up to help out this school year. Without your help and dedication, this year would not be a success.
